This monthly meeting program will provide members a comprehensive overview of key shifts in technology and generational differences and how these changes are impacting philanthropy with an emphasis on annual giving programs.  Based upon the premises that many organizations’ annual giving programs are geared toward models 10 years behind these shifts, the presentation will challenge long held assumptions by many development professionals.  Incorporating current events and trends the program will help members develop up-to-date strategies for coping with the current recession,  capitalizing on generational behavior in philanthropy, analyzing prospect data quality, deciding which communications vehicles are most appropriate today and what tactics actually are working in today’s changing philanthropic environment.
